1) On some roads, street lights are installed on one side of the road, and some roads are equipped with street lights on both sides of the road. This data sheet is suitable for one side of the road.
In this case, the 5W street lamp, installation on 3 meters lamp pole, when install on one side of the road, is suitable for a 3 to 4 meters width road.
And when installed on both sides of the road lamp, is suitable for a 6 to 8 meters width road.
2) The datasheet is based on the principle of improving product cost-effectiveness, so it is different from the standard 15 meters.
Installation and operation process:
If you have purchased solar lamp posts, please carefully review the following points
1-Geological exploration: The foundation should be constructed in a hard soil layer and a sandy soil layer, and the bearing capacity of the soil layer should not be less than 2KN/M^2. Fine sand or soft soil layers cannot be directly used for foundation construction.
2- Excavate the foundation according to the drawing size and construction requirements.
3- Drain the accumulated water in the foundation pit, place the embedded foot cage according to the size of the drawing, wrap it with insulating tape (or other), protect the top thread.
And place the foot cage in accordance with the road construction standard. The distance between the center point and the road should be selected according to the drawings, and the anchor bolts should be parallel to the road.
4- Pour the concrete and tamp it with a vibrator while straightening the foot cage.
5-Basic maintenance, the maintenance period is not less than 3 days.
Raise the light pole: raise the light pole by 1.5 meters as shown in the figure below to facilitate the installation and operation of subsequent equipment.
Lamp pole threading: use thin iron wire to pass the matching lamp cable through the lamp pole and then lead it out through the hole of the lamp arm.
Solar lamp arm threading: Use a thin iron wire to lead the lead wire of the light source out of the lamp arm, and remove the insulation at both ends of the wire for wiring.
Install the lamp arm: Use the matching bolts to fix the lamp arm to the threaded hole of the lamp pole, and check whether it is firm.
Install the solar cell module: pre-tighten on the module bracket according to the design height and pre-tighten (lead out the wire), making sure that the angle is consistent with the design.
Place soft protective materials such as cardboard on the installation work ground to prevent damage to light poles and battery boards and other accessories.
Fix the solar cell module and the module bracket with bolts, and make sure it is correct.
Install the light source: Fit the LED lamp with the lamp arm, and the illuminated surface of the lamp is perpendicular to the ground, and tighten the lamp bolts.
System wiring: Use the supporting cables to connect each device according to the requirements, and the connections must be firm and reliable. (For detailed wiring instructions, please click here to contact PVMARS).
After debugging, put the lithium battery pack in the battery slot of the solar bracket.
Erect the light pole: After cleaning the threads of the ground cage, put the noose on 2/3 of the light pole, use a crane with a 1-ton boom load to erect the light pole, and adjust the position of the light towards the road.
Finally, connect and fix the bottom plate of the light pole with the anchor cage bolts. (Or use human power to erect the light pole).
Solar panel orientation setting: The technician stands under the light pole, then puts the compass in his hand horizontally, and observes its swing direction.
After the pointer is stable, the operator adjusts the orientation of the solar panel to the south with the cooperation of the high-altitude vehicle direction and then fastens the solar bracket. (In the absence of a crane, the board can be adjusted first and then tightened before erecting the pole).
Note: During the assembly and hoisting process, all engineering personnel should wear safety helmets with suspender straps tightly bound, and the load-bearing weight is greater than 2 times the load weight.
Lifting equipment operators must have professional qualifications, and no one can stand underneath the light pole during lifting and moving!
Wiring instructions:
Wiring sequence: LED light→solar panel
Sequence of stitching: LED light→solar panel
Pay attention to the positive and negative connections between the systems and the position of the waterproof plug.
1) The load output of the lithium battery pack (integrated battery and controller) is connected to the LED load
2) The photovoltaic input terminal of the lithium battery pack is connected to the solar panel. Pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the battery panel (blue is the negative pole, brown is the positive pole).
3) After connecting, put the lithium battery pack into the battery slot at the bottom of the bracket.

Equipment debugging:
The power configuration of the lithium battery pack, solar cell module, lamp, and controller must match, and the rated working voltage must be consistent.
Before connecting solar modules, you should measure whether the module voltage reaches the standard, which is generally about 1.5 times the system voltage.
Record the charging current after installation according to the weather conditions.
After connecting the four-core female wire (wiring) to the lamp head, insert the load output four-core male wire. The indicator light is always on, and the lamp head lights up.
Core female cable, the indicator light is on, after a delay of two or three minutes, the lamp head goes out, the indicator light goes out at the same time, and the installation is normal.
Lamp power detection: Use the remote control (the remote control needs to be purchased separately) to press the detection button.
And adjust the lamps with different powers (100%, 70%, 50%, 25%, 0%) to see if there is any obvious change in brightness. If there is, it means that the variable power is normal.
Data transmission detection: Use the remote control to set the working parameters of the light source module according to the instruction manual.
After setting, point to the controller and press the send button. If the controller emits a “beep”, it means that the setting is successful. If it emits three beeps, then it fails.
The light source module and remote control should be checked to eliminate the source of interference (the protection function of the controller is the factory default, no modification is required).
The above tests are all normal, and the street lights are in normal use and can be put into operation after passing acceptance.
Note: parameters such as overcharge protection, overcharge recovery, over-discharge protection. And over-discharge recovery voltage are based on the controller manual.

How to troubleshoot and repair?
Solar Panel Troubleshooting
1.1 Solar battery voltage output is too low or has no output
1) Check and rule out whether there is a short circuit or an open circuit in the leads of the solar panel battery.
2) Verify whether the solar panel surface is damaged or if foreign matter such as dust has accumulated.
3) Check whether the wiring head is in poor contact and whether there is a short circuit in the junction box.
4) The component cables are far away from the controller, and the loss is too large during the power transmission process.
Troubleshooting LED Street Lights
2.1 The street lights are not on or the brightness is low
1) Make sure the street lamp lead wire is not shorted or open.
2) Check whether the lamp beads of the street lamp are burned or have dirt residue, and the street lamp should be replaced with a new one and cleaned in time.
3) The working life of the street lamp is exhausted, so replace it with a new one in time.
4) Ensure the power adjustment setting is correct and that the light source module has the output.
5) Check whether the controller load indicator is always on. If it is always on, the lamp head is not on, replace the lamp head, or the controller is damaged.
6) Whether the series and parallel connection of lamp beads of the lamp meets the requirements of the controller.
Solar streetlights have incorrect lighting times
1) The lighting parameters of the intelligent controller are not set correctly. Follow the instructions of the controller to check whether the settings are correct.
2) The smart controller is damaged. Replace the controller and reset
Battery troubleshooting
3.1 Abnormal charging
Main factors that cause the power generation equipment not to charge the battery:
1) The photovoltaic power generation system charges the battery pack, and the rectified voltage must be greater than the current battery voltage, otherwise.
It will not be charged. Detect whether the controller output voltage is greater than the current battery pack voltage.
2) Despite the fact that the light resource is adequate, the battery is not charged by the controller:
The voltage of the solar panel is too low or there is no voltage (refer to 1.1 to check).
A battery type that is not compatible with the controller has been used. Replace the battery.
The battery is saturated and the controller is under overvoltage protection.
3) Battery has power, but the load has no output: check whether the protection voltage of the battery pack is consistent with the parameters set by the controller.
How to maintain solar streetlights?
The solar street lighting system must be used correctly in accordance with the instruction manual and relevant technical documents
1-Solar panels are the components with the longest service life in solar street lamps and generally have a service life of more than 25 years.
During use, if there is dust and fallen leaves on the surface of the components, it will affect the power generation efficiency.
If necessary, it must be cleaned manually, keep the solar panel facing the south, and correct it in time if there is any swing.
2- Always check whether the connection of each terminal is reliable.
When the street light system is not in use, the battery cannot be placed for a long time, and it needs to be discharged and charged regularly to keep it active.
3- Regularly inspect the working status of the street light poles.
If there is any scratch that causes the anti-rust coating to fall off, it should be repaired in time.
If the light pole is damaged beyond repair, it is strictly forbidden to continue to use it, please contact a professional for replacement in time.
4- Do a good job in the fire prevention and anti-theft work of the equipment, so as to avoid the abnormal operation of street lights caused by the loss of equipment.
5- Our solar street light system is relatively simple to maintain due to the adoption of new equipment.
