25kW Solar Wind Hybrid System for Remote Broadcast Station Use

Looking for a reliable solar wind energy system for your remote broadcasting station? Look no further than PVMARS.

Introduction:

Mr. Ixxx (protect user privacy), located in a remote area of Chile, needed a power source for their broadcast communication station without a public utility grid.

He reached out to PVMARS and got a solar-wind hybrid system.

Developed by PVMARS based on a real request from Mr. Ixxx, to customize and fit the local terrain and wind conditions.

Providing a 15kw solar power system and a 10kw vertical wind turbine system, for a total of 25kw hybrid solar wind power system.

Additionally, an existing generator was repurposed as a backup power source.

An automatic sensor is installed to activate only in case of a power shortage.

Over 3 years, Mr. Ixxx never had to use a generator. This is due to the solar wind system’s ability to completely power the broadcast station.

Solar and Wind Energy Benefits:

In this case, the combination of solar and wind energy was the right solution, as the location of open space and terrain made it ideal to harness both.

Solar power is an excellent source of clean energy and is especially effective in areas with high sun exposure levels, like Chile.

Wind energy, on the other hand, can be harnessed almost anywhere, especially in areas with consistent winds like the mountains.

Both renewable energy sources are environmentally friendly and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Benefits of a vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT):

Omnidirectional vertical axis windmill with a vawt blade design. Can capture wind from any direction.

But HAWTs must be oriented toward the wind. This makes VAWTs more adaptable to variable wind conditions, such as in urban areas.

Lower cost: VAWTs are typically cheaper to manufacture and install than HAWTs. This is because they have fewer moving parts and do not require a tall tower.

Lower environmental impact: VAWTs have a lower environmental impact than HAWTs. They produce less noise, cast shorter shadows, and harm birds less.

More efficient in urban areas: VAWTs can be installed in urban areas where space is limited. They can also be mounted on buildings, which reduces their environmental impact.

Packing:

We use super thick fumigated wooden boxes for packaging, in line with international import and export requirements, so that your goods are safe for transportation.

Conclusion:

This solar wind hybrid system is a prime example of the effectiveness of combining different renewable energy sources to create a customized, reliable, and environmentally friendly power solution.

In remote areas where electricity is not an option, solar and wind hybrid energy systems can help businesses and individuals run efficiently. This is without non-renewable energy sources.
